This role serves as a key operational resource during live events, helping coordinate security personnel, maintain communication with venue contacts, and support safe and organized event operations. The ideal candidate can lead by example, remain composed under pressure, and effectively manage changing priorities in dynamic public environments. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Event Coordination
- Direct security personnel during assigned events and venue operations
- Assign posts and adjust staffing placements based on attendance levels and operational requirements
- Conduct shift briefings to review assignments, venue expectations, and safety procedures
- Provide coaching, guidance, and real-time support to event staff throughout each assignment
- Serve as a point of contact between security personnel and venue representatives
- Communicate operational updates, staffing needs, and event-related concerns promptly
- Assist with guest service matters while maintaining venue policies and security standards
- Help ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere for attendees, vendors, and event personnel
- Evaluate and respond to operational issues, disturbances, or emergencies as they arise
- Coordinate appropriate responses while following company procedures and venue requirements
- Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, staffing activities, and significant events
- Maintain records and documentation in accordance with company expectations
- Monitor event activity and crowd conditions throughout assigned areas
- Verify that officers are following post instructions and venue-specific guidelines
- Assist with staffing adjustments when attendance or event conditions change
- Support overall event readiness before, during, and after scheduled operations
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain an acceptable driving record under company standards
- Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supervising personnel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance
- Ability to remain organized and make sound decisions in active environments
- Experience in event operations, hospitality, venue management, or security services
- Background working with large public gatherings or crowd-management operations
- Familiarity with workforce scheduling, reporting platforms, or operational tracking systems
- Previous supervisory experience in customer-facing environments
- Indoor and outdoor event assignments
- Frequent interaction with large groups of people
