Startup company looking to hire a skilled Commercial and Product Counsel Attorney in San Francisco, California. This position supports a growing company providing practical legal guidance across contracts, product, privacy, and operational matters. Responsibilities:• Advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, offering clear recommendations that balance legal risk with business objectives.• Lead contract review and negotiation efforts, identifying key obligations, unusual provisions, and areas that require escalation or revision.• Provide day-to-day counsel on product and privacy questions that arise. • Collaborate with customer legal, product, and business stakeholders to keep matters progressing efficiently and accurately.• Use internal legal technology and workflow tools to support high-quality reviews and contribute ideas that improve speed and consistency.• Create and refine playbooks, templates, and guidance materials for recurring contract and product-related issues.• Identify recurring bottlenecks in legal workflows and implement practical improvements to strengthen service delivery.• Work cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams to help enhance how legal support is delivered at scale.
