As Team Lead for Global Product Support your will manage a team of specialists delivering expert technical support and maintenance leadership for our global portfolio of Live Tank Circuit Breakers. This role ensures top-level product performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction worldwide.**How you’ll make an impact*** Lead with purpose: mentor and develop a global team of product support engineers specializing in Live Tank Circuit Breakers.* Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic support.* Collaborate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to drive product improvements and address recurring field issues.* Oversee the creation, review, and distribution of technical documentation, service manuals, and training materials.* Deliver technical training to internal teams, partners, and customers on installation, operation, and maintenance.* Manage overall global product support structure and budget coordination for Live Tank Breakers together with the Global Product Support Manager.* Overall responsibility for the maintenance of product master data for Live Tank Circuit Breaker products, including spare parts recommendations, obsolescence planning, and global service bulletins.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal processes across all support activities.**Your Background*** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is a plus.* Minimum 5 years of experience in product support, field service, or engineering within power transmission and distribution.* Strong technical knowledge of high‑voltage live tank circuit breakers, including diagnostics and maintenance.* You balance a passion for leadership with a strong interest in technology; proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in global environments.* Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and other relevant standards for high-voltage switchgear is beneficial but not mandatory.* Proficiency in English required; Swedish strongly preferred; German or Spanish is an advantage.* Travel internationally to provide on-site support is required, ability to travel internationally up to 10%.**What we offer*** Collective agreement* Flexible working time* Health care and wellness allowance* Fantastic career possibilities within Hitachi Energy both within Sweden and globally* Mentor to support you throughout onboard phase* Various trainings and education supporting employee development* Diversified company with over 70+ nationalities working in Sweden* Supplementary compensation for parental leave* Employee Benefit Portal with thousands of discounts and perksRecruiting Manager Mauricio Aristizabal, View email address on click.appcast.io, will answer your questions about the position.
