As a Secondary English Teacher stepping into this Hyde school, you will deliver engaging language and literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. If you are an adaptable Secondary English Teacher based near Hyde , this short-term role in Hyde allows you to showcase your skills across dynamic classrooms. Daily Rate: £150 – £220 What you’ll do: Delivering pre-set English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes, maintaining continuous pupil progress. Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with local school policies. Assessing completed classwork and leaving thorough handover notes for returning staff. Adapting learning materials to support pupils with varying academic abilities. What we’re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification. Direct experience operating as a Secondary English Teacher in secondary settings. Excellent literacy skills and quick rapport-building techniques.
