A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire an Associate Implementation Specialist, Service Delivery to come onboard! In this role, you will provide hands-on data center operational support for a leading technology company, performing hardware break/fix activities, firmware upgrades, OS installations, and GPU configurations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You will be responsible for ticket management, parts inventory, system validation, and coordinating with field engineers and colocation teams — all requiring strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with internal teams and end customers. The client requires someone who is physically capable, flexible with scheduling (including weekends and holidays), and confident working inside servers and replacing hardware components. Overview:

This is a 100% on-site, hands-on data center support role based in Memphis, TN supporting a large-scale enterprise technology environment. The ideal candidate brings experience in hardware repair, Linux CLI, basic networking, and data center operations — and is comfortable serving as a flexible escalation and coordination point for urgent or unplanned issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as this person will interface directly with customers, dispatched field engineers, and colocation facility teams on a daily basis. Must-Haves:

1. Hardware repair / hands-on server experience — Must be comfortable and confident working inside servers, replacing parts (HDDs, NICs, GPUs, etc.); prior Dell FSE experience is a strong plus

2. Linux CLI experience — Must be able to navigate Linux command line, read and interpret system logs, and execute commands independently

3. Basic networking knowledge — Understanding of network fundamentals required; RoCE network experience is a plus

4. Data center operations experience — Ticket management, parts inventory, documentation, and coordination with colocation/facility teams

5. Physical requirements — Must be able to lift 65 lbs and work while on a ladder

6. Schedule flexibility — Must be available for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as required by the customer
