Financial Operations Analyst

Line Shop Analyst | Utilities & Operations Finance We’re looking for a Line Shop Analyst to support field operations across Northern New Jersey. If you have experience in financial analysis, accounting, operations support, or process improvement and enjoy working directly with field teams, this is a great opportunity to drive capitalization performance and operational consistency, with potential for long-term growth. What You’ll Do: Travel to line shops and service centers across Northern NJ to review financial performance and capitalization practices Partner with Field Engineering Managers, Directors, Operations, and Business Services teams to analyze labour charging and capitalization trends Conduct field reviews, identify process inconsistencies, and provide real-time guidance on capitalization decisions Develop and streamline reporting tools, dashboards, and key performance indicators to support operational reviews Create accounting policy guidance, training materials, and easy-to-understand playbooks for field personnel Evaluate time charging processes and recommend improvements to increase accuracy and compliance Support design standards reviews and ensure approved project designs align with capitalization requirements What You Bring: Experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, operations, or a related field Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial data and identify trends Comfortable asking challenging questions and investigating labour charging practices Experience creating reports, dashboards, or process improvement recommendations Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into operational guidance Willingness to travel regularly throughout Northern New Jersey Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
