Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Telemetry/Step-Down experience required. Knowledge in ECG and cardiac drips. Description: Position available in telemetry/step-down unit. Patient ratios are 1:4-5. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. No on-call requirements for this position. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Must comply with RTO restrictions; limited to 7 days per contract. Prior charge experience is beneficial, although not mandatory. Experience with charting system, specifically Epic, is required. Special procedures include cardiac catheterization and echocardiogram. Understand and manage various cardiac conditions and patient needs. Daily census averages 32 patients, with a focus on adult care. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and respiratory services. Comprehensive management of cardiac drips and pulmonary hypertension care required.
