Clinical Programs ManagerDepartment:OperationsReports To:Recruiting ManagerFLSA Status:ExemptLocation:HybridPosition SummaryThe Clinical Programs Manager serves as the primary relationship leader and brand representative for OrthoMed Anesthesia across clinical anesthesia education programs nationwide. This individual builds long-term partnerships with CRNA, CAA, and Physician Anesthesiology residency programs to create early-career talent pipelines. The role connects students and residents to OrthoMed Anesthesia through clinical rotations, educational events, conferences, social engagement, and consistent follow-up, then transitions qualified and interested prospects to the appropriate Clinical Recruiter for formal recruitment.Key ResponsibilitiesNational Program Partnerships — Identify, prioritize, and engage clinical anesthesia programs nationwide based on OrthoMed Anesthesia's current and projected workforce needs. Establish and maintain relationships with program directors, faculty, clinical coordinators, career services teams, student leaders, and professional associations. Serve as the primary point of contact and face of OrthoMed Anesthesia for clinical anesthesia programs and their students or residents. Maintain a structured outreach cadence and document relationship history, opportunities, commitments, and next steps.Clinical Rotations — Partner with clinical, operational, legal, and facility leaders to identify rotation opportunities and support affiliation agreement requirements. Coordinate the development, launch, and ongoing management of clinical rotation partnerships. Maintain regular communication with students before, during, and after rotations to strengthen engagement and identify future employment interest. Gather feedback from students, program representatives, preceptors, and internal stakeholders and recommend improvements to the rotation experience.Student and Resident Engagement — Develop relationships with students and residents throughout their training and maintain relevant, personalized communication through graduation and job-readiness milestones. Represent OrthoMed Anesthesia at conferences, career fairs, program presentations, social events, Beyond the Call events, networking functions, and other early-career engagement activities. Educate students and residents about OrthoMed Anesthesia's markets, practice environments, clinical culture, career pathways, and employment opportunities. Create a high-touch candidate experience that builds trust and keeps OrthoMed top of mind as students and residents approach graduation.Events and Marketing Partnership — Partner with Marketing to develop program-specific campaigns, presentations, collateral, digital communications, sponsorships, and branded events. Plan and execute educational, social, and networking events that increase awareness of OrthoMed and deepen relationships with priority programs. Ensure external communications and events accurately reflect OrthoMed Anesthesia's brand, culture, and employment value proposition. Track participation, engagement, follow-up activity, and pipeline outcomes for each event.Pipeline Tracking and Clinical Recruiter Handoff – Create and maintain a centralized student and resident tracker or database containing program, specialty, graduation date, geography, rotation and event participation, communication history, interests, and readiness for recruitment. Monitor prospects across the student-to-hire lifecycle and maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records. Qualify interest, career preferences, geographic alignment, and expected availability before completing a warm handoff to the appropriate Clinical Recruiter. Establish clear handoff standards and remain engaged as appropriate to preserve the program relationship and candidate experience. Report on program activity, conversion trends, pipeline health, upcoming graduates, rotation outcomes, and hires attributable to program partnerships.Other duties as assignedPerformance MetricsGrowth and strength of relationships with priority clinical anesthesia programsNumber and quality of new and active clinical rotation partnerships.Student and resident participation in rotations, events, and ongoing engagement activities.Accuracy, completeness, and usability of the student and resident pipeline database.Volume and quality of qualified prospects handed off to Clinical Recruiters.Conversion of program-sourced prospects into interviews, offers, and future hires.Timeliness of follow-up and satisfaction among program, student, and internal stakeholders.What You BringBachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, human resources, marketing, communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.Three or more years of experience in university relations, campus recruiting, clinical education, healthcare recruitment, provider relations, program management, or a related field.Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with academic and clinical stakeholders.Strong presentation, event-planning, written communication, organization, and follow-through skills.Ability to manage a national portfolio, prioritize competing deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or comparable tracking tools; experience with a CRM, ATS, or database strongly preferred.Willingness and ability to travel nationally and attend occasional evening or weekend events.Core QualitiesRelationship Building | Program Development | Executive Presence | Student Engagement | Event Strategy | Pipeline Management | Cross Functional Collaboration | Data Discipline | Candidate ExperienceWhy Join UsWe are a growing anesthesia practice management company with 700+ employees and contractors, committed to supporting healthcare professionals while maintaining a vibrant, collaborative workplace culture.
