Set within an urban school setting, this role requires someone adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with the unique aspects of city life.

As a valued team member, you will work a consistent 35-hour week between the hours of 7:15AM and 4PM, with an immediate start and the assignment running through June 10, 2027. Reliable transportation is a must, as there are no remote or hybrid options; the district prioritizes onsite expertise.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid PA SLP license and eligibility to complete all required state clearances
• Prior experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting
• Familiarity with working in urban districts and comfort navigating diverse student populations
• Ability to manage a middle and high school caseload effectively
• Punctuality and reliability—schedule accommodations are not available
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
• Conduct evaluations and write comprehensive reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and staff
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and maintain compliance with federal and state protocols
