Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in a high-acuity critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have recent experience managing complex ICU patients and be comfortable working with advanced life-support equipment and critical care interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor responses to treatment.
• Manage patients requiring advanced cardiac, neurological, trauma, surgical, and medical critical care.
• Operate and monitor specialized ICU equipment and therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
• 4–5 years of ICU experience preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Medical ICU (MICU)
  • Surgical ICU (SICU)
  • Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU)
  • Trauma ICU
  • Neuro ICU
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Current AHA ACLS certification required.
• Current NIHSS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR required.
