Tax Associate AttorneyAligned Talent Acquisition is continually seeking experienced Tax Associate Attorneys for opportunities with Am Law 50, Am Law 100, Am Law 200, regional, and boutique law firms throughout the Chicago market. If you have experience advising clients on sophisticated federal, state, and international tax matters, I'd love to connect.Compensation$235,000 – $390,000+Ideal Background3–7 years of tax law experience gained at a sophisticated law firmExperience advising clients on corporate, partnership, and LLC taxationExperience supporting mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, reorganizations, and financing transactions from a tax perspectiveExperience structuring domestic and cross-border transactions to achieve tax-efficient outcomesExperience with partnership tax, fund formation, executive compensation, or international tax is a plusStrong drafting, analytical, research, and client counseling skillsAbility to independently manage sophisticated tax matters while collaborating with multidisciplinary deal teamsExcellent academic credentialsLL.M. in Taxation is a plus but not requiredJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school requiredIllinois bar admission required or ability to become admittedWhy This Practice AreaSophisticated transactional tax practiceOpportunity to advise leading public companies, private equity sponsors, and investment fundsBroad exposure to complex domestic and international transactionsSignificant client interaction and strategic advisory responsibilitiesExceptional long-term career opportunitiesInterested?Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with Am Law 50, Am Law 100, Am Law 200, regional, and boutique law firms nationwide.
