Engineering Intern Summer 2027- Candidates Attending 2026 SWE National Conference

Medtronic seeks engineering interns for summer 2027 across multiple U.S. locations. This full-time, 10-11 week paid internship targets students pursuing degrees in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering with graduation dates between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research and development projects across engineering disciplines
• Support manufacturing, operations, or process improvement initiatives
• Analyze operational and engineering data to inform project outcomes
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
• Participate in onsite work minimum 4 days per week in assigned hub location

Requirements

• Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related discipline
• Anticipated graduation Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029
• Currently authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship available
• Prior internship or project experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement preferred
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred
• Experience with technical documentation and engineering data analysis preferred
