Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Rochester, MN 55905
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (8-hour shifts)- Overtime: Required as needed
Contract Duration: 4 months with a strong possibility of extension
Pay Range: $1600/week (Travel pay); $35/hr. (local pay)

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, clean, package, sterilize, and distribute medical and surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
• Support the operating room team by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available and properly processed
• Operate and troubleshoot sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, washer disinfectors, and ultrasonic cleaners

 

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing, central service, patient care assistant, or related acute care experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current CBSPD or CRCST certification required
• Strong knowledge of sterilization processing and surgical instrumentation handling
• Experience with inventory management and sterile processing equipment
