The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers success as if it is their own./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliOversee radiation therapy equipment calibration, safety, and quality assurance/liliDesign and supervise radiation treatment plans using modalities like IMRT, IGRT, SRS, HDR/LDR brachytherapy/liliPerform weekly chart reviews, dose calculations, shielding surveys, and peer reviews/liliEnsure compliance with VA, ACR, and NHPP standards/liliProvide technical oversight and training for new procedures and technologies/liliMaintain documentation for equipment performance, calibration, and treatment accuracy/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliMasters degree in Medical Physics or related field/liliBoard Certification/Eligible in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)/liliExperience with: ulliVarian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam with Brain Lab Accessories)/liliImage Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) including Cone Beam CT/liliEclipse treatment planning system and ARIA record verify system/liliTreatment modalities including 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, and IMRT/VMAT/liliIMRT QA systems (e.g., MapCheck)/liliCT Simulators/liliSuperficial X-ray machines/li/ul/liliExperience in a healthcare system with ACR or APEx certification preferred/liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills/liliExcellent communication and teamwork abilities/liliProficiency in computer systems and networking related to radiation oncology/liliAbility to pass a government background check and complete required VA training/li/ulpstrongAll candidates must be able to:/strong/pulliSit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift/liliLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist/liliLift up to 20 lbs/liliCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance/liliPush/pull with 30 lbs of force/li/ulpstrongAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran./strong/p/div
