When you join the Caterpillar Oil Gas and Marine Division (COGMD), youre joining a global team that helps to power the global energy industry as well as provide power and propulsion on the water./ppAbout the Role:/ppThe Pressure Control Sales Representative is responsible for managing and developing customer accounts, identifying opportunities for new business, and facilitating communications, both internal and external, to ensure customer needs are met. They will grow revenue and market share while optimizing sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans./ppAdditional Information:/pulliThis role is available in the following locations: Midland, TX (preferred), Fort Worth, TX (preferred) and Houston, TX/liliRelocation is not available for this role/liliUp to 25% travel/li/ulpWhat You Will Do:/pulliBuild relationships with customers and cultivate accounts into long-term customer alliances/liliDevelop Tender/Proposal Strategy and prepare/negotiate associated sales quotes/liliDevelop and manage sales strategies including account targets, account playbooks, and customer engagement plans./liliMaintain opportunity pipeline in internal online systems/liliKeep abreast of new products, specifications, industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicate new information to company colleagues/liliAttend industry sponsored trade shows and seminars/liliWork as liaison between the company and the customer ensuring all needs are met and regular performance reviews are scheduled/liliProvides input and assistance to other functional areas including Quality, Service and Safety to improve processes and customer satisfaction levels/li/ulpTop Candidates Will Have:/pulli5+ years of Oil Gas experience. Pressure Control (flow iron, missile, frac tree, zipper, etc) Equipment Services experience preferred/liliExperience in the Permian Basin Relevant Industry sales contacts/liliCustomer Relationship Management/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliMust be at least 21 years of age./liliHave a clean driving record, which generally means:/liliNo more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months./liliNo more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years./li/ulpWhat You Have Skills, Knowledge, Experiences:/pulliCustomer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions./liliIndustry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organizations industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations./liliNegotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner./liliRelationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers./liliAccount Management: Knowledge of account management; ability to manage day-to-day activities, providing services and support to existing clients./li/ulpSummary Pay Range:/pp$128,470.00 - $192,710.00/ppCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
