Job Overview

• Position: BOH Pizza Cook / Maker
• Department: Kitchen (Back of House)
• Reports To: Kitchen Manager or Head Chef
• Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Core Responsibilities

• Dough Preparation: Stretch, toss, or roll pizza dough to exact size and thickness standards.
• Station Setup: Prep and stock toppings, sauces, cheese, and station items before service.
• Pizza Assembly: Build custom and specialty pizzas accurately and quickly according to recipes.
• Oven Management: Monitor baking times and temperatures; rotate and pull pizzas from the oven at peak quality.
• Sanitation & Safety: Keep work surfaces, tools, and the oven area clean, sanitized, and compliant with health codes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but on-the-job training is available.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts (up to 8–10 hours) and lift heavy items up to 40–50 pounds.
• Skills: Good hand-eye coordination, basic knife skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Work Ethic: Strong teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude during high-pressure rushes.
