Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Athens, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:30

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages experiencing emergencies. The nurse will work collaboratively within a team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental improvements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the State of Tennessee.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
• Must pass the Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to the start of assignment.
