Classroom Program Lead – Foundations Learning Academy

Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

Compensation: Starting at $16.00/hour (increases based on experience) so let's negotiate.

What You’ll Do

• Lead an Inspiring Classroom: Design and maintain a safe, vibrant, and nurturing environment where children grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively.

• Bring Learning to Life: Plan and deliver hands-on, play-based curriculum that sparks wonder, creativity, and school readiness.

• Mentor & Empower Your Team: Support, guide, and collaborate with Assistant Teachers to model best practices and foster a positive team dynamic.

• Partner with Families: Build strong, trust-based relationships with parents through open communication and celebratory progress updates.

• Ensure Standards of Excellence: Maintain proper staff-to-child ratios and uphold all Virginia state licensing, health, and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in early childhood education, preschool, or a childcare setting.

• Proven leadership qualities or supervisory experience (preferred).

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• A heart for working with children, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to excellence.

Bonus Points For:

• CDA, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field).

• Knowledge of Virginia childcare licensing regulations.

• Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
