Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Director of Nursing provides clinical leadership, direction, and oversight to ensure the delivery of person-centered care that honors the dignity and well-being of every resident.Responsibilities for Director of Nursing:Develop and implement a comprehensive staffing plan that reflects the department's clinical needs and supports safe, high-quality resident care.Conduct regular rounds to monitor, evaluate, and enhance the quality of nursing care delivered throughout the facility.Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with residents, family members, staff, and the interdisciplinary medical team.Partner closely with the Administrator to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care that aligns with organizational goals and resident needs.Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures in accordance with current federal, state, and regulatory requirements.Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff to promote professional growth, teamwork, and clinical excellence.Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to ensure continuous enhancement of nursing services.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and clinical standards governing nursing care facilities.Qualifications for Director of Nursing:Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
