Position SummaryOdyssey Systems is seeking an Electrical / Electronics Engineer to support advanced situational awareness and multi-domain operations (MDO) programs. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and integration of RF and signal processing systems that enable next-generation battlefield awareness, electronic warfare, and spectrum management capabilities.You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and operators to design and deliver systems that integrate data from diverse sensors, communications, and radar systems to provide actionable intelligence and operational advantage. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in RF, signal processing, and spectrum management, along with experience contributing to mission-critical DoD programs in multi-domain environments.This is a full time position located at MacDill AFB, FL or Ft. Belvoir, VA. ***Contingent upon contract award***ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to: Assist in the design, analysis, and development of electrical and electronic circuits and components.Support schematic creation, PCB layout reviews, and component selection.Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of hardware prototypes and assemblies.Perform measurements, data collection, and analysis using standard lab equipment.Contribute to documentation including design notes, test procedures, and engineering reports.Collaborate with senior engineers, mechanical teams, software teams, and manufacturing personnel.Participate in design reviews and provide input on technical decisions.Support integration activities, system bring-up, and issue resolution.Ensure work complies with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.Assist in supplier communication, part evaluations, and technical assessments.Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, test reports, and design artifacts.***Contingent upon contract award***QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Active Secret (ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly required)Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field Experience: 3–6 years of experience in electrical/electronics engineering or equivalent hands-on backgroundPreferred QualificationsExperience: Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial, or consumer electronicsTechnical SkillsWorking knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principlesExperience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or KiCadFamiliarity with microcontrollers, sensors, power supplies, or embedded hardwareProficiency using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzersAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specificationsExperience with PCB layout or design-for-manufacturability (DFM/DFT) practicesKnowledge of EMI/EMC principles, grounding, and signal integrityFamiliarity with regulatory standards such as UL, CE, FCC, or IECExposure to embedded systems, firmware, or FPGA-based designsExperience with reliability testing, environmental testing, or failure analysisInterpersonal SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently on moderately complex engineering tasksAdditional InformationLocation: Tampa, FL or Fort Belvoir, VATravel: As needed#LI-SB1***Contingent upon contract award***Company OverviewOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
