About the Position

Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Candidates must possess skills in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM). Candidates must have proficiency in ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Candidates should have 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This is a contract position for a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The role involves working night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. No call requirements are associated with this position. The unit consists of 32 beds and is staffed by approximately 150 personnel. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 or 1:2 depending on the shift. Type of equipment utilized includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound. The electronic medical record system in place is Meditech. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude. Dress code consists of navy blue scrubs; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are acceptable. Internal monitor placement competency and experience in a high-volume unit is preferred. Typical procedures performed include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. The unit adheres to prescribed guidelines and policies, including attendance policies. The staff's tenure and experience are significant assets of this team.
