Hiring: Body Shop Metal Technician

• Pay: $26.50 per flat rate hourly

• Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Repair and replace damaged vehicle body panels, structural components, and metal assemblies to manufacturer standards.

• Perform frame and unibody repairs using measuring systems and specialized straightening equipment.

• Analyze vehicle damage and develop repair plans based on estimates, OEM procedures, and inspection findings.

• Weld, cut, grind, and fabricate metal components using industry-approved tools and techniques.

• Remove and install body parts, moldings, trim, glass, and related components during the repair process.

• Restore damaged panels through metal finishing, dent repair, and panel alignment to ensure proper fit and appearance.

• Operate and maintain collision repair equipment, including frame machines, welders, hand tools, and measuring devices.

• Conduct quality control inspections to verify repairs meet safety, structural, and cosmetic standards.

• Collaborate with estimators, painters, parts personnel, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and vehicle delivery.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies, OEM procedures, and safety regulations.
