About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in critical care units. License: WI RN or compact RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (AHA only). Must-Have: Experience with multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. Basic arrhythmia experience is required. Telemetry test must be passed prior to starting. Description: Evening and night shifts are available. 8-12 hour shifts are from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend and some holidays are required. Experience in varied critical care settings is essential. Client is recognized for excellent patient care and growth opportunities. Candidates must possess skills for managing high acuity patients. Adeptness in central line management, ventilator management, and emergency medications is necessary. Performing in high-stress environments while delivering compassionate patient care is key. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Travelers are expected to adapt to floating across different units as necessary. A telemetry exam will be required with strict passing criteria. Candidates should be prepared for rigorous testing to ensure competency in critical care skills.
