Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and academic growth near Hackleburg, AL. In this role, you’ll provide speech therapy services primarily to preschoolers, with the chance to interact with a few middle and high school students at two conveniently located school sites. You’ll manage a caseload of 55-60 students, though you’ll only be directly responsible for eight primary cases, allowing you to focus your expertise where it’s needed most.

Be prepared to collaborate closely with educational teams and families as you implement and maintain individualized education plans that enhance student success. Start making an impact as soon as possible, with this contract running through May 28, 2027. Enjoy working a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week.

Pay for this position ranges from $40-45 for SLPs and $30-35 for SLPAs, commensurate with your experience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama SLP or SLPA license
• Knowledge of IEPs and special education procedures is preferred
• Background in pediatric and school-based settings strongly desired
• SLP-CCC, CFY, or SLPA credential accepted

Key Duties:

• Provide direct speech-language services to a diverse student population
• Develop, implement, and keep up with accurate IEP documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development
