What You'll Do

• Conduct overnight sleep studies and monitor patients using advanced equipment
• Prepare and fit patients with positive airway pressure (PAP) masks
• Monitor multiple physiological parameters, including oxygen saturation, respiratory and heart rate
• Troubleshoot monitoring devices and assist patients with basic care tasks
• Follow safety protocols and sleep procedures to establish baseline data
• Enter data accurately into EMR systems (Meditech Expanse) and analyze sleep patterns
• Support patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with sensitivity and professionalism

What You Need

• LA State license
• BLS certification
• RPSGT or RRT-SDS certification
• Minimum 1 year sleep tech experience
• Comfort working independently, troubleshooting equipment, and providing patient care

• Experience with pediatrics and geriatrics
• Critical thinking and strong communication skills
• Tech-savviness with sleep monitoring equipment

About the Assignment This position is based at a leading sleep medicine facility in Bossier City, Louisiana, overseeing outpatient sleep studies for a diverse patient population, including pediatric and geriatric cases. The role involves both independent work and team collaboration, providing vital diagnostic services in a state-of-the-art environment.
