JOB SUMMARY : ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates computer terminal to input patient information, vehicle status, and crew assignments.
• Gathers and records information related to the level of care actually required during transfer (based on patient's medical condition).
• Dispatches appropriate resources to complete patient transfers in the most cost-effective manner that ensures appropriate level of care en route.
• Collects information related to vehicle maintenance, repair costs, outside vendor utilization, and other operational statistical data as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE : Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic by the Texas Department of Health. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
