Mammography Technologist - Full Time

MLR is partnering with a breast care center in the District of Columbia to find a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join their team.

Qualifications for a Mammography Technician:

• Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.
• Current certification in mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a radiologic technologist in Washington, DC.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities for a Mammography Technician:

• Position patients for mammography procedures, ensuring proper alignment for accurate imaging.
• Operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality images of breast tissue.
• Work closely with radiologists to ensure precise interpretation of mammogram images.
• Offer patient education and support throughout the mammography process.
