Description: Seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our Family Birth Center. This role provides comprehensive care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. Candidates should be adaptable, clinically confident, and value compassionate, patient-centered care. Experience includes assisting with high-risk deliveries, postpartum care, and newborn stabilization. Average delivery experience of 225/year is expected. Familiarity with administration of medications, including antipyretics, antihypertensives, and epidurals, is required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in fetal heart rate monitoring and newborn assessments. Knowledge of patient and family education regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care is essential. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a supportive, team-oriented environment. An understanding of various patient diagnoses in obstetrics including preeclampsia and gestational diabetes is necessary. Candidate should be familiar with special procedures such as cervical dilation exams and stabilization for transport. Effective communication skills and a focus on patient safety are critical for success in this role.
