Azure AI Platform ArchitectRole OverviewThe Azure AI Platform Architect designs, deploys, and governs an enterprise AI platform on Microsoft Azure. Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, this role combines enterprise architecture with hands-on administration to build a secure, scalable, and resilient foundation for AI workloads, automation, and knowledge systems.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Infrastructure DesignDesign end-to-end, production-grade Azure AI reference architectures following the Azure Well-Architected Framework.Maintain platform diagrams, deployment patterns, and infrastructure standards.Azure AI & Cloud AdministrationDeploy and manage core services: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Container Services.Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, environments (Dev/Test/Prod), cost optimization, and quota limits.Ensure high availability and resiliency against service failures.Security, Identity & GovernanceImplement secure-by-design architectures using Microsoft Entra ID, least-privilege models, service principals, and managed identities.Support logging, auditing, data confidentiality, and Responsible AI principles (e.g., human-in-the-loop).Operations & DeliveryMonitor AI service performance, troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks, and support CI/CD deployment pipelines.Core Technical Boundaries & CollaborationDecision AuthorityFull Ownership: AI platform architecture, Azure environment setup, infrastructure security models, and scaling patterns.Out of Scope: Defining business workflows, data taxonomies, or product feature sets.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Experience: 7–12 years in cloud architecture and Azure administration, with proven experience deploying production enterprise AI systems.Core Skills:Deep expertise in Azure AI services, Entra ID, identity management, and cloud security.Experience with cloud monitoring, cost management, and CI/CD pipelines.Strong technical communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Certifications:Azure Solutions Architect ExpertAzure Administrator AssociateAzure AI Engineer AssociateType: Direct HireCategory: IT/Networking/HardwareDate Posted: 2026-07-21
