Transportation Director

The Transportation Director oversees all aspects of campus mobility, including transit systems, fleet management, and sustainable transport initiatives. They manage budgets, personnel, and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient travel for students and staff, while collaborating on long-term transportation planning and regulatory compliance. Employee will report to the Vice President and Assistant Director of Facilities Management. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

High School diploma or GED. Must possess a valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License, Class P with passenger endorsement. Computer skills and Excel spreadsheet experience required. 2 years of supervision experience. 5 years of work-related experience.

Consistently exhibit engaging customer service. Ability to support various constituencies served by the University. Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position. Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success. Knowledge about zoning, mapping, parking and mass transportation logistics and fleet service. Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills.
