RN - CVICU

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients in critical condition.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• 36 hours scheduled per week
• 24 hours guaranteed per week
• Must be willing to float to similar units or sister locations as needed
• Weekend requirements are to be determined by the facility

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to Baywood and Heart ICU and PCUs as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of recent CVICU experience required.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active state license to practice is required at the time of submission.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Certification Requirements

• Active BLS certification (AHA).
• Active ACLS certification (AHA).

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later.
• Requests for time off must be included and cannot exceed 7 days, with no requests during the first week of assignment.
• Candidate driver's license is required to verify residency.
• All candidates should be pre-closed and ready to accept the position upon offer.
