IMC is currently hiringa Environmental Services Worker (Housekeeping), from 7:00am - 3:30pm , who performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner, buffs floors as needed, and performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department. EDUCATION:- Must be able to read and write.
- No previous experience needed.
- Performsall assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highestintegrity of the Environmental Services Department.
- Performsroutine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas,waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairwaysin a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
- Completeswork assignments in a timely manner.
- Utilizesthe appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Usesand maintains equipment properly.
- Assistsvisitors with directions whenever requested.
- Alwaysintroduces self to patients, families and visitors.
- Reportssafety hazards as appropriate.
- Transportstrash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
- Replenishessupplies.
- Followsall infection prevention and control practices, including Standard Precautions,Transmission-Based Precautions and hand hygiene.
- Maintainsset quality standards when performing job duties.
- Fulltime
- Must be able to work weekends
- 7:00am - 3:30pm shift
