Our mission is to promote healthy communities and provide the highest quality care to enhance the well-being of all Oklahomans. **About the Position**: The incumbent in this position is assigned responsibilities related to preparing, classifying, and abstracting medical reports in the medical records unit. Typical job functions include but are not limited to: * Reviewing medical records for completeness and accuracy and referring incomplete or inaccurate reports to appropriate staff for correction.* Preparing statistical, case, and other types of reports.* Preparing materials and forms and gathering all pertinent information and data for admissions and discharges.* Ensuring all data is properly coded. **Job Type/Salary:** * Full-time* Annual Salary is $34,500, or $16.59/hour* Primary Working Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm* FLSA Status: Non-Exempt* Application period: 10/01/2026 - 10/07/2026 **Minimum Qualifications and Experience:** Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of eligibility for accreditation with the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT); or two years of experience working with patient records in a medical setting such as a hospital, state institution, medical clinic or a physician’s office. **Special Requirements:** Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license. **Benefit Highlights:** ODMHSAS is proud to provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees and their dependents. GMH provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions. **Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Preplacement Testing:** Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result. **THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK.
