Radiation Therapy Technologist
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Duration - 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapy Technologist to provide high-quality radiation therapy services in an oncology setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Therapy and demonstrate strong technical, clinical, and patient-care skills.
Responsibilities- Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician-prescribed treatment plans.
- Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
- Verify patient identity, treatment site, and treatment parameters before procedures.
- Position and immobilize patients accurately for treatment.
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and established department procedures.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other members of the oncology team.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain a safe and professional treatment environment.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience .
- ARRT (R.T.) certification required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise treatment protocols.
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
