Responsibilities:

• Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Advising clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and asset protection.
• Administering estates and trusts, including probate proceeds and trust administration.
• Conducting legal research and staying current with changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff to provide exceptional client service.
• Managing client relationships and maintaining regular communication within the community.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nebraska state bar and in good standing.
• 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, trust, and estate administration.
• Strong knowledge of estate planning laws, tax regulations, and probate procedures.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the pay range for this position is $95,000, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
