Job Title: Trauma ICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Trauma Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: 2 years of Trauma ICU experience required License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Required drips and medications: Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Cardene, Cleviprex, Levophed, Insulin, Dopamine, Nitro. - EMR experience: Epic. - Prior travel experience preferred. - Degree accreditation must be on profile or 5 years of experience required. Description: We are seeking a Trauma ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of Trauma ICU experience. The ideal candidate will have certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 2:1. Candidates must be experienced in required drips and medications, including Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Cardene, Cleviprex, Levophed, Insulin, Dopamine, and Nitro. Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system is necessary. Prior travel experience is preferred. Degree accreditation must be included in the profile, or 5 years of relevant experience must be demonstrated. Floating to other units is required, with travelers being the first to float to other sister campuses. It is important for travelers to integrate into the unit culture and function as core staff.
