Full Charge Bookkeeper

Location: Fort Mill SC Are you an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper looking to join a growing and respected company in the construction industry? About the Role The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting functions while supporting order processing and customer account management activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating directly with customers regarding account balances and collections. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Bank reconciliations Payroll support (if applicable) Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances. Communicate professionally with customers regarding collections and payment status. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial and operational processes. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Experience with order processing is required. Experience with progress billing , particularly within the construction industry, is highly preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
