Communicates clearly with customers and internal teams, applies the basics of 49 CFR, IATA, and IMDG, and knows when to escalate non-routine or complex cases. Detail-oriented, organized, and coachable, they maintain audit-ready records, work safely in warehouse and secured/TSA areas, and manage time well to meet cutoffs.
This position is based in the Atlanta area; however, we are specifically seeking candidates located in or near Cartersville, White County, and surrounding North Georgia communities.

- Acknowledge and respond to customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage assigned shipments and accounts in accordance with company procedures and service standards.
- Assist with shipment planning and coordination for domestic and international movements.
- Apply applicable regulatory requirements (49 CFR, IATA, IMDG) based on mode of transportation.
- Classify dangerous goods using Safety Data Sheets (SDS), including UN/ID number, Proper Shipping Name, hazard class/division, packing group, quantity limits, and compatibility requirements.

- Complete required checklists, job breakdowns, and work instructions for each shipment.
- Coordinate packing, crating, and delivery schedules with warehouse and packing teams.
- Coordinate carrier pickups, deliveries, and special handling requests.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain complete, audit-ready shipment files.
- Assist with freight audit and billing preparation, including documentation review and reconciliation.
- Support compliance with internal SOPs, customer instructions, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervision
