Veterinary Receptionist

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Receptionist for a busy veterinary hospital. We are looking for someone with a warm demeanor, a helpful attitude, and a genuine desire to care for people and their pets. The ideal candidate has a servant's heart, enjoys helping others, and can stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets warmly as they arrive.
• Answer incoming phone calls, assist with questions, and direct calls as needed.
• Schedule appointments and help manage a busy daily schedule.
• Check clients in and out while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment.
• Process payments accurately using the hospital's point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain and organize paper records and client paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with veterinary staff and other team members.
• Assist with general reception and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, warm, and helpful demeanor with a genuine desire to serve others.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Previous receptionist, customer service, or veterinary office experience is a plus.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
