Key job responsibilities Develop, deploy, and operate scalable bioinformatics analysis workflows on AWS Evaluate and incorporate novel bioinformatic approaches to solve critical business problems Originate and lead the development of new data collection workflows with cross-functional partners Partner with laboratory science teams on design and analysis of experiments About The Team Our team highly values work-life balance, mentorship and career growth. Basic Qualifications PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language Experience in designing experiments and statistical analysis of results Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience Experience in professional software development 2+ years developing and operating bioinformatic or analysis pipelines in a language such as Nextflow, WDL, Flyte, or similar Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
