Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele

Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Schedule: Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour block

Assignment Details:

• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Unit size: 36 beds/rooms
• Patient population: Adults / Geriatrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Experience with Epic charting (required)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data for dysrhythmias.
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including blood products.
• Manage central lines, PICCs, peripheral IVs, and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning.
• Participate in rapid response and code team activities as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must possess a State or Compact nursing license upon submittal.
• Core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Orientation modules must be completed onsite; RN modules average 46 hours (non-billable).
