Position: OR / Circulating RN

Pay : $50–$54/hour
Schedule: 3 weekday shifts/week
Shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM | 12-hour shifts
Hours: Approximately 36 hours/week
Contract: August 31–October 24, 2026 | 8 weeks
Patient Population: Adults

CareerNation is seeking an experienced OR / Circulating RN for an 8-week contract opportunity at a multi-specialty medical Center in Dallas, TX.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR nurse looking for a consistent 3-day-per-week schedule with 12-hour weekday shifts , providing approximately 36 hours each week while maintaining four days off.

Responsibilities

• Independently circulate surgical cases in the operating room
• Complete pre-operative patient verification and surgical safety checks
• Prepare the OR and ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are available
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, surgical techs, and other members of the perioperative team
• Maintain sterile-field awareness and enforce OR safety standards
• Participate in surgical counts, procedural time-outs, and other safety protocols
• Complete accurate intraoperative documentation
• Monitor and advocate for patient safety throughout procedures
• Assist with efficient room turnover and surgical case flow

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license
• Current BLS
• Minimum 1 year of OR / Circulating RN experience
• Recent hands-on circulating experience
• Ability to independently circulate surgical cases
• Comfortable working 12-hour OR shifts
• Background check
• Drug screening
• TB screening
• OR / Circulating RN skills assessment
• COVID vaccination or qualifying medical/religious declaration

Scrubs are not provided.
