We are working with a rapidly growing Plaintiffs' Elder Abuse & Personal Injury law firm headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, with offices throughout California. The firm is seeking an experienced Elder Abuse & Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team, preferably in its Century City office, but also permissible in any of its other offices. Responsibilities Conduct all necessary and desirable legal research. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery and discovery responses, legal memoranda, motions and responses thereto, accompanying memoranda of law, mediation briefs, pre‑trial memoranda, trial briefs, motions, other trial motions and documents, post‑trial motions, and appeals (as necessary). Make all necessary and desirable court filings. Conduct, defend, and attend depositions. Interview, retain, depose, and prepare experts as necessary. Set up motions. Engage in motion practice. Attend and argue at motion hearings. Make all required, necessary, and desirable court appearances. Participate in arbitrations and mediations. Prepare assiduously for trial. Serve as trial counsel. Adhere strictly to deadlines. Communicate regularly with clients on the status of their matters. Work collaboratively and effectively with team members. Qualifications Admission to the State Bar of California. A strong work ethic. Attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Passion for representing injured clients against insurance companies. Previous experience in personal injury litigation cases. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to meet strict deadlines while multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to effectively lead all team members within assigned departments. Commitment to providing clients with the highest level of service. Desire to contribute to the firm as a whole. Passion for fighting on behalf of individuals against large firms and companies. Strong desire to help those who cannot help themselves.
