We are seeking an internal medicine trained physician with primary care experience to support our team in a precepting role. The position would involve supervising resident clinics Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, working alongside another attending physician. Each session typically includes 5 to 6 learners, with patient volume varying depending on the residents level of training. Responsibilities include: - Teaching and supervising residents during patient encounters - Examining patients jointly with residents (and directly with interns from July through December) - Providing constructive verbal feedback and completing written evaluations in a timely manner - Overseeing inbox management, prescription requests, and related administrative tasks - We are ideally looking for coverage beginning in mid-June and continuing until we secure a full-time physician. - Only will consider physicians - Must be Internal medicine trained physician with primary care experience to support our team in a precepting role. - Patient load detail: ~18-25 patients per half day - Hours: 1 pm-5 pm. - Call expected: shared call every 3rd week. Resident will take the first call. If they need to precept then they will reach out to the attending via tiger text or telephone *Facility is now open to full-time candidates.
