Attorney - Civil Litigation

A respected and growing law firm in Pasadena is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its dynamic litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to take ownership of cases, work directly with clients, and handle sophisticated litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, discovery, and court filings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Develop case strategy and provide practical legal advice to clients.
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings as needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California Bar.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience independently managing cases and client relationships.
• Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience required.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Full-time, hybrid

• Salary range: $165,000-$215,000 annually + performance bonuses
