Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location Scranton, PA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for general medical, surgical, short-stay, orthopaedic, stroke, and remote telemetry-monitored patients in a 30-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio Perform EKG interpretation, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and medication administration Complete vital signs monitoring, assessment documentation, and point-of-care testing including blood glucose Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed Float to other units as required per facility floating requirements Document all care accurately using Cerner EMR Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with remote telemetry monitoring Familiarity with Cerner EMR Prior experience caring for orthopaedic and/or stroke patients Why Join Us Immediate start available with a stable 13-week contract in a well-established acute care setting No on-call requirements, offering a predictable and manageable schedule Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775779.
