Opportunity Summary

Join a global manufacturer of high-purity materials used in life sciences and advanced technology, where product quality directly affects the customers who depend on it. In this role, you'll serve as the dedicated quality lead for a key customer account supported by two manufacturing sites, with your work based in Paris, KY. It's a chance to own customer-facing quality reporting and put your DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma skills to work on real process improvements .
Responsibilities

• Prepare dedicated quality reporting for a key customer account across two manufacturing sites, serving as the single point of quality accountability.
• Lead root cause investigations on process issues and drive corrective and preventive actions through to closure.
• Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control, and design full and fractional factorial experiments to uncover process improvements.
• Conduct internal audits, write findings reports, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve audit observations.
• Review Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient products, assess how deviations and process changes affect validation and product design, and work with Manufacturing, R&D, and Engineering on new product transfers.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role in the chemical, rubber, or plastics industries, including support for test method, manufacturing process, and cleaning validation.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000, Lean, Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical process and quality control principles, and metrology tools.

Preferred

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or currently pursuing certification.
• Experience with Minitab or other statistical software is strongly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for quality documentation and record keeping.
