Job Description:

Delta Homecare - Tennessee is seeking a skilled and compassionate Contract Nurse to join our team! As a Contract Nurse with Delta Homecare, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing high-quality care and making a real difference in their lives.

Responsibilities:

• Complete visit in client's home, monitoring for changes in patient condition and providing education and training to patients, family, and home health aide

• Take vitals, monitor GI intake and output, and provide medication management

• Complete admission assessments, supervisory visits, employee meetings, skilled nursing visits, and employee comp assessments

• Maintain accurate records and reports, and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Georgia State Board of Nursing

• At least two years of general nursing experience, with current home care, medical, surgical, or critical experience

• Complies with accepted professional standards and principles

• Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health

• Presents a pre-employment physician's health clearance, including a negative TB skin test, current First Aid & CPR certification, and other tests as required by the Company's policy

• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Company requirements and is in good working order

• Has excellent references from previous/current employers and/or professional peers

• Has abilities to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines
