Food Packaging Specialist Details:

• Temporary position
• $15.16 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 12:30pm )

• Tray and package large quantities of hot and cold meals
• Portion meals accurately and efficiently Package prepared meals into lunch sacks
• Organize and load completed meals into coolers for delivery
• Work quickly and efficiently to ensure meals are ready before volunteers arrive for pickup
• Maintain an organized and sanitary work area Wash dishes and assist with kitchen cleanup
• Complete additional sanitation and cleaning duties as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers

Food Packaging Specialist Qualifications:

• Previous experience packaging or preparing food in large quantities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills
• Dependable and willing to assist wherever needed
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and being on your feet
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation
• Team-oriented and willing to help with cleanup and dishwashing

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
