About the Role:

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team at Brentwood Clinic, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and support throughout their visit. This position involves a blend of clinical and administrative tasks, allowing the CMA to contribute significantly to patient outcomes and clinic efficiency. The CMA will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, assisting healthcare providers during procedures, and managing patient records with accuracy. Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a healthcare facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas of medical assisting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and assisting with physical exams.
• Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
• Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care activities.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

Skills:
